Care instructions
Always test an offcut or sample prior to working the leather with tools, adhesives or heat. To ensure the leather print on your product is as durable as possible, we’ve worked hard refining our printing process and craftsmanship. As leather is a natural material you may notice small differences in surface and texture, as well as wrinkles, which is common to products made from natural leather. All leathers age naturally according to the usage, and this can cause the print to wrinkle or fade slightly over time. It is possible the base colour may show through the leather as it ages with wear. When not in use we recommend storing your product in a protective dust bag or box to keep your product looking its best. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat, sunlight, water, and chemical cleaners to maintain a bright and long-lasting print. Avoid contact with light coloured fabrics or upholstery as the colour may transfer. Whilst a light rain shower is unlikely to harm, we recommend protecting from rain. Should your product get wet, allow to dry naturally away from direct heat. To clean surface wipe only with a damp lint free cotton cloth.

About Your Custom Mini Shopper Bag
Add the Mini Bonchurch bag to any basic outfit to instantly add that special something. The structured contour of this bag gives it a timeless shape that will outlive the trend cycles. We call this mini, but it will easily hold your routine handbag possessions. You can design your own mini shopper bag to be bold and brazen or pastel and pleasant, or anything in between. How Your Mini Bonchurch Shopper is Made
Once your designs are finalized and you're happy with the way your custom mini shopper bag looks, our print technicians and leatherworkers pull all the strings to create it. The inks that make up your design are bonded to the leather and take on the qualities of the material. The leather is cut, shaped, and stitched to create the bag. Then the lining and pockets are added to the inside, and the smooth black Nappa bits such as the handles and decorative tabs are added. The hardware is added at this stage as well. Finally, the Mini Bonchurch bag is finished and ready to be quality checked prior to use sending it out to you.
Design Tips
When you design your own mini shopper bag, there are four areas for you to get creative with. The front and back panels of the bag tuck under the base, which means your designs will wrap underneath. This gives a fully printed look, but also means that part of your design won't be visible from the front of the bag. If there are parts of your design that you want to make sure are displayed, we recommend keeping those parts in the top half of the design panel. You will be able to see where elements of your design will sit using our 3D preview. For the sides of your custom made mini shopper bag, block colors and patterns are ideal.

What's the best resolution to print in?
We print at 200dpi, which is a good combination of quality and file weight.
Ideally your image should be scaled to 100% at 200dpi, this means that no resizing of your file occurs stopping any interpolation.
Should I save my file as a TIFF or JPEG?
For multi-colored or very detailed files we recommend using a tiff format, but they must be flattened. For simple colors and low detail files, a jpeg is fine.
Which color model should I choose? RGB or CMYK?
We advise providing images in the RGB color space. Specifically using the sRGB image profile, to achieve best color results. What does this mean? In your editing software, choose RGB as the working space and assign the image profile as sRGB (full name sRGB IEC61966-2.1)
What does GSM mean?
Grams per Square Meter (GSM) is an international standard for measuring the weight of paper or fabric. GSM uses the weight of a square meter (1000 x 1000mm) as an indication of the weight and thickness of a given fabric. We class 20-100gsm as light (summer fabrics, gauzes
and fine silks), 101-249 gsm as medium (most clothing fabrics) and 250+ gsm as heavy (upholstery fabrics, and other specialist fabrics).
What are
bleed areas?When designing your product, it’s best to make sure that your image is slightly larger than needed. In printing, the extra printed image is referred to as a “Bleed Area” or margin, and it is removed from the finished piece. A bleed area acts as a buffer for slight inconsistencies in the manufacturing process. however, it’s important to fill your bleed areas completely, or you may end up with white, unprinted strips along the edge of your finished product.
Do you print on garments a customer supplies?
Unfortunately not. All our garments are printed on flat
fabric, and sewn into finished products, which gives abetter finished result and all-over print. We test meticulously so that we know what getsbest results on our fabrics, and our facilities cater perfectly to them. We do however print sublimation paper to order, so if you have access to a heat press you can press your fabrics or flat garments easily.
Can you Align a Pattern or design across panels of a garment?
We always strive for the greatest accuracy when printing and constructing your garments. However, due to unavoidable stretch or movement of the fabric during the stitching process, we cannot guarantee perfect pattern registration across garment seams. We are generally accurate within 2-3mm, which Is close enough for most
patterns, but may show slight issues with detailed geometric patterns.
Can I print my own Labels?
Most of our garments now come with printable label space for you to add your own company information and branding! If you would like to sew in your own labels, we also offer Printed Fabric Labels here.
How is your fabric printing eco-friendly?
With environmental consciousness in mind, our fabrics are all printed using completely
water based inks. This means no chemicals or solvents are used. Our heat fixing procedure fixes the colors and prints, avoiding the downsides of steaming, such as excess or contaminated water returning into the waste system. We have one facility in London where we conduct all the printing, production and fulfillment.

What is the lining made from?
The lining in your custom made mini shopper bag is our Faux Suede fabric in a natural tan color. It's soft and will help to prevent your belongings from scratches. The trim inside the bag at the very top is smooth Nappa.
Is the bag sturdy?
This bag has a defined structure that makes it sturdy. Even the handles are robust and can stay upright or flip down on either side of the custom mini shopper bag.
What can the Mini Bonchurch bag be used for?
We call this a mini shopper bag because it's a miniature version of our larger shopper bag, but this size is more suitable as a day-to-day handbag. It's big enough that you can comfortably fit all of your handbag staples in it, but not big enough to fit things you might end up purchasing while out and about.
