About Your Custom Rugs
Your custom printed rugs are beautifully handmade to order using anti-slip latex sponge, jute rug binder, and sultry velvet fabric. The warm, soft pile under your feet, and the glistening surface on custom rugs simply exude sophistication and charm. To ensure any space can be transformed, you can design your own rug in 6 sizes. All our personalized rugs are perfectly suited to both wooden flooring and carpets.
With generous discounts available and no minimum orders, you can also shop custom rugs for wholesale. Curious about our options? Our cotton fringe on one or both sides of your bespoke rugs add a traditional aesthetic, while the straight edge option for custom rugs are ideal for contemporary spaces. Alternatively, have the best of both with fringing on just one side. When you make your own rugs, they are printed and hand stitched together, the personalized rug is a home furnishing that radiates luxury.

The Process of Custom Made Rugs
When you create your own rug, your original designs are printed using dye sublimation. This fuses the inks deep into the fibers of velvet so the personalized rugs resists fading over time. We bind jute to the anti-slip latex sponge base of your custom printed rugs for added strength and structure, topping with the printed velvet fabric of your choice. The edges are neatly hemmed on your personalized rugs, creating a distinct straight line on the custom design rugs. We hand sew the natural cotton fringe to the two shorted edges, should you select this decorative option for your print on demand rugs. If you ever need to transport your customized rugs, they can easily be rolled up, despite the structured jute layer. Details on custom printed rugs are reproduced to a photo finish, with high definition colors and a vibrant print.
Please note that our production process can cause the print-on-demand rugs to emit an odor from the base which comes from the eco natural anti slip latex, with jute binder. This is temporary and will only last for a few days.
We also print and manufacture all our products on demand. This means you can shop custom rugs for wholesale with less waste going in landfills.
Design Tips
Infuse your home with culture and design your own rug inspired by prints from across the globe. Make your own rug and go for a classic Persian motif rug, Italian Baroque prints or mosaic patterns from the Byzantine period. You can even create your own rug for decor outside of the home. These custom made rugs can be used to greet customers in your retail establishment or business reception area. With such a large area to customize, your artwork is visible for all to see when you design your own rug.
As we hand-make our bespoke rugs, slight deviations are possible when centering your logo. Therefore we would recommend repeating your logo with our design tool.

Print Guideline
-
What's the best resolution to print in?
We print at 200dpi, which is a good combination of quality and file weight.
Ideally your image should be scaled to 100% at 200dpi, this means that no resizing of your file occurs stopping any interpolation. -
Should I save my file as a TIFF or JPEG?
For multi-colored or very detailed files we recommend using a tiff format, but they must be flattened. For simple colors and low detail files, a jpeg is fine.
-
Which color model should I choose? RGB or CMYK?
We advise providing images in the RGB color space. Specifically using the sRGB image profile, to achieve best color results. What does this mean? In your editing software, choose RGB as the working space and assign the image profile as sRGB (full name sRGB IEC61966-2.1)
-
What does GSM mean?
Grams per Square Meter (GSM) is an international standard for measuring the weight of paper or fabric. GSM uses the weight of a square meter (1000 x 1000mm) as an indication of the weight and thickness of a given fabric. We class 20-100gsm as light (summer fabrics, gauzes
and fine silks), 101-249 gsm as medium (most clothing fabrics) and 250+ gsm as heavy (upholstery fabrics, and other specialist fabrics). -
What are
bleed areas? When designing your product, it’s best to make sure that your image is slightly larger than needed. In printing, the extra printed image is referred to as a “Bleed Area” or margin, and it is removed from the finished piece. A bleed area acts as a buffer for slight inconsistencies in the manufacturing process. however, it’s important to fill your bleed areas completely, or you may end up with white, unprinted strips along the edge of your finished product.
-
Do you print on garments a customer supplies?
Unfortunately not. All our garments are printed on flat
fabric, and sewn into finished products, which gives abetter finished result and all-over print. We test meticulously so that we know what getsbest results on our fabrics, and our facilities cater perfectly to them. We do however print sublimation paper to order, so if you have access to a heat press you can press your fabrics or flat garments easily. -
Can you Align a Pattern or design across panels of a garment?
We always strive for the greatest accuracy when printing and constructing your garments. However, due to unavoidable stretch or movement of the fabric during the stitching process, we cannot guarantee perfect pattern registration across garment seams. We are generally accurate within 2-3mm, which Is close enough for most
patterns, but may show slight issues with detailed geometric patterns. -
Can I print my own Labels?
Most of our garments now come with printable label space for you to add your own company information and branding! If you would like to sew in your own labels, we also offer Printed Fabric Labels here.
-
How is your fabric printing eco-friendly?
With environmental consciousness in mind, our fabrics are all printed using completely
water based inks. This means no chemicals or solvents are used. Our heat fixing procedure fixes the colors and prints, avoiding the downsides of steaming, such as excess or contaminated water returning into the waste system. We have one facility in London where we conduct all the printing, production and fulfillment.
Please note: As we make everything by hand, all sizes may vary slightly.
Which fabric do you use for your personalized rugs?
We use our gorgeously soft Velvet Shimmer or Marbled Velvet fabric for your customized rugs. The short pile glistens subtly in the light and more importantly, feels a dream under your feet.
Are personalized rugs non-slip?
Yes, all custom rugs feature an anti-slip latex sponge base, with a jute binder to give it added strength. The standard base color for the print-on-demand rugs is cream.
Are these custom rugs easy to clean?
Just like you'd clean any carpet or rug, regularly vacuum to maintain cleanliness. Do not put your custom printed rugs in the washing machine or place them next to open flames.
